this looks great!
ive been looking for a while and im having trouble finding a texture like the one in the background. do you know of any textures/ tutorials of how to create this effect?

Thanks Jeff! :) You can use the background from this wallpaper if you like. It is available here: [link] , without the logo of course.

You can easily create a similar texture by combining a 20% visible radial gradient with some Photoshop monochrome noise. After that it's all up to your taste. You can make the graininess more intensive or less visible.
